Denver Broncos (O/U 8.5)

The Denver Broncos had a disappointing and rough year last season. New head coach Sean Payton looks to Russell Wilson and will try to change the dynamic and steer this team in a better direction. Hearing the news about Jerry Jeudy’s hamstring injury will hurt, and hopefully, it doesn’t linger throughout the season. Having Russell is a plus for the Broncos. He has been in many meaningful games in his career, and so has Sean Payton. As a Bronco fan, they should be very intrigued about this year to see how they respond to a lackluster 2022 season. Selecting Marvin Mims in the second round will help Russ if Jeudy is out for an extended period. The defense will hold its own, and the conditions of playing in Denver are harsh. I can see this team being in the middle of the pack this year. Sean Payton will steer this team into a playoff contender, not this year, but in years to come. This line is very tough for me. I would avoid this line because Vegas put thought and research into this Denver Broncos team, especially since the Broncos were 5-12 a season ago. This Bronco team has a lot of questions and an arguable top-tier quarterback. At best, I see this team winning 9-10 games, but the worst being 6-7 wins. They face many mid-tier teams, and if they can win all those games, they have a shot at the playoffs. Sean Payton’s style of coaching and Russ’s experience give this team a little hope of getting into playoffs.

Over 8.5 (Notable games they face, Miami, Jets, Bills, Minnesota, Detroit, Pats, and Browns)

Los Angeles Chargers (O/U 9.5)

The Chargers look forward to getting over that playoff hurdle after their disaster against the Jaguars in 2022. The question is, will they finally be able to break it? Undoubtedly, Justin Herbert is a top 5 quarterback in the league. The main question is, will the offense be healthy? They have their main key guys getting hurt every year. The injury bug has hurt the Chargers in previous years, and Keenan Allen being another year old doesn’t help the situation either. The defense is very talented and has some big-time veterans. I look forward to seeing Justin Herbert take the next step and drive this team over the hump. Looking at the schedule for them, it doesn’t seem too easy. I like this team to get going and get going quickly. I can see this team upsetting the Chiefs one game this year and beating up other notable teams.

Over 9.5 wins (Notable opponents they face, Miami, Minnesota, Dallas, Jets, Detroit, Baltimore, Pats, and Bills)

Look for Justin Herber to have an MVP season, might want to sprinkle some money on him. And sprinkle some money on him for having the most Touchdown passes this season.

Kansas City Chiefs (O/U 11.5)

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – OCTOBER 10: Patrick Mahomes #15 and Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrate after the Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 30-29 to win the game at Arrowhead Stadium on October 10, 2022 in Kansas City, Missouri. (Photo by David Eulitt/Getty Images)

Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid look to return to the Super Bowl after a successful year. After last year, trading Hill and seeing the success they still had shows how dynamic this offense is. Patrick Mahomes is now taking over the Tom Brady phrase, “You can never count them out.” What I am afraid of this year is the depth of this team, and with the Travis Kelce injury, it gets very rough. The Chiefs will have one of the toughest schedules this year. However, I like them way too much to count them out for playoffs. The Lions will come into Kansas City, put up a fight, and have the Chiefs on alert that they can’t take this year lightly. I believe this team will have some humps to get over, and it is very hard to win back-to-back Super Bowls, but if anyone can do it, it is Mahomes and Reid. With a tough schedule and lack of depth, I can see this team still making playoffs but not dominating as much as people think.

Under 11.5 wins (Notable opponents they will face, Lions, Jets, Vikings, Eagles, Bills, Bengals, Jags, and Pats)

Las Vegas Raiders (O/U 6.5)

Jimmy Garoppolo and the Raiders will look to steer this ship in the right direction during the 2023-24 season. It will be challenging to overcome based on their division and some tough opponents they will face, like the Steelers, Bills, Lions, and the Jets. It may not be a great year to be a Raiders fan, but they will be competitive and string along wins this season. Having an underappreciated offense, I believe they will move the ball with no issue. It will come down to Jimmy G carrying this offense, in which he has had his good moments and bad ones in the National Football League. This Raider team will have some good underdog wins and will make this year interesting, but I can’t see them making a playoff push while they have three other teams in their division making a stronger case.

Under 6.5 wins (Notable opponents they face, Jets, Bills, Steelers, Lions, Pats, Miami, Giants, and Minnesota)

Look for Hunter Renfrow to have a very solid and great year.
