Carolina Panthers (O/U 7.5)

Carolina Panthers (O/U 7.5 wins)

The Carolina Panthers and their number one overall pick, Bryce Young, will take the field this year, with Frank Reich leading the charge in the 2023 season. I will say Bryce Young has an excellent head coach to learn from. This team has veteran playmakers, including Adam Thielen, Hayden Hurst, Miles Sanders, and DJ Chark. Bryce Young will look to continue his success after his phenomenal career at Alabama and lead this Panther team into playoffs. Panther fans must be excited to get their quarterback, who will ultimately be a top-10 quarterback for several years. However, this year will be a learning experience for Young, and I don’t believe this team is a playoff contender, but they will surprise the league in some games this season. They have a bright future, but I can’t see it coming to light in the 2023 season. In Young, we trust.

Under 7.5 wins (Notable games to look for, Minnesota, Lions, Miami, Dallas, and Jacksonville)

Atlanta Falcons (O/U 8.5)

The Falcons have been getting a lot of praise this offseason, and we will see how they react to the hype. Second-year quarterback Desmond Ridder and his new offensive weapon, Bijan Robinson, will look to attack the NFC South division push for the playoffs. After trading Calvin Ridley, they have acquired Mack Hollins, who was in Las Vegas in previous years and will come in to take on a bigger role in this offense. Look for Kyle Pitts to have an improved season in year 3 of his career. The Falcons have lots of versatility on offense, and this offense will move the ball. They will also have some game-winners with Koo as their kicker. This Falcons team will have a decent year with much upside on paper.

Over 8.5 wins (Notable games to look for, Lions, Jaguars, Tennessee, Vikings, and Jets)

Take the over in yards for Bijan Robinson. He will have a great year and will take this Falcons team as far as he goes.

New Orleans Saints (O/U 9.5)

The Saints will look for revenge this year. After adding Derek Carr, they will be looking for a division title. Even with Alvin Kamara being suspended for 3 games, having backup Jammal Williams, who had a great tenure in Detroit, is very helpful. Cameron Jordan will lead the defense again, but another year older in his career. Is he still in his prime? This Saints team is a couple of playmakers away from an excellent team, but it will be a good, competitive team in this division. They will be fighting the Falcons for that one spot in the division; it’ll be a fun year to watch these two play against each other. I can’t see the Saints winning that many games while this division was close last year. I feel like the Saints will have a bad loss somewhere in their schedule.

Under 9.5 wins (Lions, Patriots, Jaguars, Vikings, Giants, and Green Bay)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Without Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look for another NFC South division title. The unknown at the quarterback position could be better, and having to choose from Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask isn’t the greatest either. I think this team will fall off dramatically and be revamped next season. Also, their schedule is difficult, and they will have significant tests this season. Don’t look for anything spectacular to come out of Trask or Mayfield. Hopefully, the Bucs can find someone better for the 2024 season.

Under 6.5 wins (Notable game to look forward to, Vikings, Eagles, Lions, Bills, 49ers, and Jags)
